Hello we bought a Spanish made Samurai 1.9 diesel 2002. Intermittent inability to get into gear ! If left for a few hours or overnight it works fine and smoothly, but if used a lot in dense traffic it locks and its not possible to select a gear. Started happening after reversing down a short, but very steep hill. Garage says it needs a new clutch. Anyone know where a new clutch for this model can be found ?

Sounds to me like the thrust bearing is on its way out.... but no idea where you would find a clutch for that, they are very rare!
