Hi Guys
I'm from Portugal and joined the forum a week ago, as my 19yr old son was "gifted" a Samurai from his grandpa. Lucky guy!
It's a 1.3 from 95, white, hardtop, completely stock, as new with just 45000Km
All as well, except for expected complaints from the heavy steering... until 2 days ago when the tip of the ignition key broke inside the ignition.
At first, he kept on driving, as with remaining key inserted it behaved normally.
Today, the luck ended. Now the key enters the ignition but it doesn't turn anymore.
Before I deliver it to a Suzuki shop, is there any trick I can try ? I already tried a wire, a magnet, epoxy on the rest of the key, but no success.

Welcone to SCUK.
The DIY option is to drill or smash the barrel out and fit another.
You should have removed it while you could still turn it as it is easily removed with a operating mechanism.
