Hello. Just bought X reg conv GV 2000 auto, which amongst the plethora of sign writings (was there a bargain offer from Suzuki's sign writing firm?) says SPORT too.
So GV 2000 auto converible sport X reg (ie 2000AD).
There is no owners manual and I have advertised for one. In the meantime I am trying to determine what a switch which has three positions and sits to the right of the 4wdhigh/low- 2wd gear change stick does, or is meant to. I haven't had the nerve to just try it 'in case'.
Any one know what it is supposed to Do?
Many thanks.
GISAHT.

I dont own that specific Suzuki model, but i am almost certain the 3 way switch electronically engages the 4 wheel drive exactly as the sticker, each position engages that specific mode.of course i could well be wrong, but i would also thing you only flick the switch to the mode that you require when the gearbox is in neutral as well.

For normal road going mode leave it as it is,only flick to engage the 4 wheel drive system when off road other wise you can cause damage.

Most of the older SJ/Vitara model and also other have a manual engage mode ie another small gear leaver that you manually engage but yours had a electronic engaging system just by flicking a switch.

You can download the Owner's manual from the Suzuki UK site, you just need to enter your VIN. Its not to engage 4wd, that's what the stick is for.
