Hi all , well after bout 3 year of owning my sj yesterday i went for its first drive after passing its mot a few weeks ago , didnt go far as it was its first run with the vit engine n that and not painted yet so just went up to the top of the village , so everything was ok changine through the gears but when trying to drop a gear to turn into a junction couldnt really get a gear had to lyk double clutch kinda thing to get it , anyone got any ideas , thanks

Forgot to mention i still have the 410 clutch cable in , dont no if makes a diffrence

If it was crunching gears, which will be worse when changing down, you most likely will have to tighten up the clutch cable
