Wonder what sort of mileage others have got before engine troubles..??????i
is 94 thousand miles exceptional for a Suzuki sj413....i wonder.....

Mines on 93,000 no troubles yet

All depends on how well it's been looked after and how it has been driven really. who knows how well previous owners in the last 20+ years have treated our Suzuki's.

I've known a few that were over 100k but never actually checked if it was the original engine or not.

My Vit engine in my SJ is on 115-120k (I cant remember exactly how many miles it had on it or I've done with it) and the Vit it came from was a pink Rossini owned by a local girl racer and I don't exactly give it an easy life either.

Mines on 115000 and all is well

My 1.3 was on 135k when i put the vit lump
In. It used a bit of water and oil and rattled a little on start
Up but i didnt maintain it near the end as i planned to replace it
So didnt bother spending money on it.

Just ticked past 100k one lady owner with stamped service history.

You keep Suzuki engines serviced they look after you. A mate had a 413 with 50k on it that lived on a farm sounded almost as bad as a plumber dropping his tool bag

My Vitara V6 is knocking on 130k and running as sweet as a nut,just throw the odd can of STP oil additive in once every 6 months and no mechanical problems what so ever.

With the 1.3 its more the carb that will pack up instead of the engine

My clock is on 52k km .. I dunno if its been round tho so might be 152k km lol. Its running the best its ever run since I've owned it.
