Wheel info...

I have some Dihatsu Fourtrak Pepper pot wheels on my SJ with 30mm spacers, but it still seems very narrow. 31x10.5 tyres only poke past the standard arches by an inch or so.
Does anyone know the E.T of these wheels? Ive looked online but no one seems to list the measurements.
Im looking into getting some 15x10 ET - 38 modular wheels to get some extra width. but may be futile unless someone knows the offset of my current wheels so I can calculate widths.

15x10s are too big for 31/10.50s
Does sound narrow though. On 31s mine stuck out about 3"
Are they the alloys? You can measure the off set by lying a wheel flat on the ground easy enough.

Oh right, didn't think they would be too wide, may look into the 8" version.
Was hoping someone would know it but looks like Ill have to whip a wheel off and measure it.

I ran my 31s on 15x7s. They were spot on, mangels i think.
Can pick 15x7 and 15x8 up fairly easily. May know of some 15x8 alloys for a good price but would need to check the size.
Should have a good off set as they are vitara wheels.

I got my 15x8 pepperpots and they fit pretty good... think they were £45 from 4x4tyres.co.uk
No extra offset but I believe where they are 1" wider they are 1/2" further out

When I was running SJ413 axles with 31's, the tyres didn't poke out much but they did like to rub the arches on the rear when the tyre came up. I fitted Samurai axles and now the tyres stick out a lot further.
You have an SJ413 or a Samurai? I have a 413, but as I say I now have Samurai axles.
*EDIT*
This pic of your vehicle has SJ413 indicators and the NT spring spacing.
You have a 413 with narrow spring spacing and narrow axles, like mine. That's why your wheels don't stick out as much as most of the people here, they have Samurai's. You don't. So your wheels shouldn't stick out as much, this is normal for your vehicle.

Good spot Anton. Never even thought SJ / Samurai difference.

Ah right that explains a lot! (runs off to find some sammy axles.
I think Ill just carry on with my idea of -30 ish offset wheels and spacers still, it feels like its going to fall over quite a lot. I know it probably wont as the shell must weight the grand sum of f**k all but its more of a mental thing, i'd be happier if it was wider

Just remember if you do find some samurai axles you will need to re-weld the perches in the correct positions for the spring spacing

Check out my build thread, I did exactly that.
You can't just make the perches all with the same width as one of the front ones sits partially on the diff pumpkin, so it's not quite as easy as doing a set of sammy perches. Not that hard either, though.
I think ScottieJ's thread must have similar pics, he swapped 410 axles for Sammy axles, and his 410 has the same NT spring spacing as ours.
I think we have the better spring spacing, actually. It should flex better and it doesn't get in the way of big tyres like the wide spacing can on full lock.
