You run an ECU in your sammy, which kinds of limits waterproofing im afraid.
You cannot submerge the ecu, it will fail and will be a costly fix
I think it will be in the dash somewhere, so you carnt go too deep

As long as they are EXACTLY the same then i think they will work.
Not 100% tho, i hate electrics, especially ECU's!

Whats that tony!!! open the bonnet,,, does"nt that let the rain in... lol
best way to cover your dizzy is, a rubber marigold, left or right.
just snip the ends to allow the HT leads through, the pull the glove over the dizzy
cap, and seal with electrcal tape..
ecu"s are swopable, i done one on a renault, but i need locks, transponder etc.

dont worry to much for the cb4x4 weekend the water isnt that deep at the mo.
and its such a big site you don't have to drive into the deep stuff.
tony
p.s. andy's glove idea works really well.
but use a marigold they are stronger...

Ive been told condoms are better than marigolds for waterproofing HT leads
