How to remove the f*&^i&& brake calliper?

Post by Eltoon » Sat May 14, 2016 3:36 pm

Right, finally getting me hands dirty, thought I'd try and replace my 2 stripped wheel studs but I can't get the sodding calliper off! The pads won't clear the edge of the disk it seems. The manual says to push the piston back in a bit but doesn't say how and I can't figure out any way of doing so..... :S :argh: :bawling:

Big bar under the edge of the caliper against the disc. Just gently ease the caliper up and as it comes over the lip the pads should push the piston back in.
