SJ vibration

Any ideas please - I am getting a rough vibration under acceleration and decelleration (so when engine is under most load I suppose), mostly in mid rev range. I can feel it through the steering and hear it too.
Engine mounts look fine / solid. I'm guessing it is caused by dodgy mounting somewhere along the engine / gearbox/transfer case area? If it was prop shafts it would not be rev dependent (my guess) - it runs smooth and good at steady speeds.

Had a new clutch with bearing a few miles ago, so it won't be that.

Any ideas where to start looking and how to check?
Thanks all, as usual ;)

Did you notice the same issue before the new clutch was fitted?

No Sherwood, but I fitted the clutch (well, Andy did, I 'helped') as soon as I got it. I'm fairly sure this is a new thing. It feels like it is mounts somewhere along the drivetrain - but in that case how do I check them when they aren't under load.

You need to remove engine mounts to check them.

The transmission mounts can be checked just using a pry bar.

It could be a UJ on one of the props. Again I find it best to unbolt to check these. If a UJ has gone dry and started to seize you won't be able to tell with it still bolted up.
