Buzzing noise from large heat sync under passenger side dash

Post by SlimGrim » Thu Sep 08, 2016 7:43 pm

Under the dash above the passenger side footwell is a large round aluminium heat sync, which has recently taken to clicking really fast when the engine is running until I turn the lights on at wich point it stops, the noise returns when I turn them off again, any ideas on what this is and why it could be doing this?

Think its the dim dip relay. Should be OK to just unplug it

It's your AirBag ECU, or Flux Capacitor :)

I have the same issue with my LJ and the noise stops when I brake. Why it does this is a complete mystery.

Dim dip unit. Unplug and chuck it.

No need to replace
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good
