Hi Folks

Just getting a new Jimny and want to fit a tow bar.
Looking at many tow bars they appear to drop down a lot are the rear and Im worried they may cause problems on steep angle departures.

Are there "good" or "bad" tow bars and do they cause much or any of a real problem off road ??

Thanks Gary

Get a removable one, I find that mine sometimes drags but I can take it off with one dial!

Scottie! Where are you?

Would recommend getting some proper recovery points, as I wouldn't trust a towbar to recover off!

Good point on recovery points.

All the ones I have looked at require mods to the bumper, (not ideal on a brand new car with warranty)

Does anyone know any that don't require mods (cutting drilling etc) ??
