The old V6 Vitara went in for the MOT this morning, must admit i was expecting it too fail, but it came through and the only comment was a slight bit of corrosion on the near side rear wheel arch.
Once i found out it had passed,i also got the guy to do a complete oil and filter change as the oil was as black as anything, the V6 much prefers decent oil other wise the timing chains start rattling.
The old 'Gal' just keeps going, although it wont win any major car shows as its just a pure out and out workhorse, but its a pure joy to drive with that silky smooth V6 engine under the bonnet.
Just got another 12 months MOT on the old Vitara............
