Hi guys ive got a 2005 jimny....the problem is the past couple of days for the first 10 mins each day theres a loud squeel and a strong smell of rubber when driving. When i change from 1st gear to 2nd gear the squeel stops as soon as i press the clutch then when i drive in 2nd and go from 2nd to 3rd again tje squeel stops when i press the clutch in and as soon as i let the clutch out it starts again. Only happens for first 10 to 15 mins then stops.

Any help or advice would be really appreciated. Thanks guys

Sounds like the fan belt is sliping,

Its located behind the powersteering belt so you may aswell change the pair. Easy enough to do.

See how tight the belts are on the front of the engine!
