Starter motor on 1.6 8v 1993

Need some help my starter motor is playing up which other ones fit?? Cheers

What is it doing....or not doing.

Mignt just need a strip and clean

Its just clicking had it off once. I seen somewhere that other starter motor fits it. Do u know any?

How thoroughly did you strip and clean the starter?

Also check the wiring, it could be that it's not getting enough current to the trigger wire. test this by using a bit of wire from the trigger connection to the positive
on the battery with the ignition on, if it starts easily like that then it's a wiring issue.

I presume it's in a vitara? If so just get one listed for an sj or vitara etc. they aren't hard to find.
