Early style sj410 brake caliper rebuild kit?

Post by palo123 » Sun May 21, 2017 11:27 pm

Evening all, I want to rebuild my calipers on my early B reg sj410 but can't find a seal kit for them, i only need the seals as the pistons are very good with no pitting what so ever.

The pistons are 51mm, i had to measure it with a ruler as i couldn't find my vernier caliper so not sure if it is 100% correct. All the seal kit i found from places like Biggred are all too big or too small. The caliper says Aisin 52 on it.

I have found this one ebay Item no. 281092167709
but it only says it is compatible when i put the vehicle as a SJ410 Cabrio but not just a SJ410.
It also says for Girling/Lucas calipers which i thought were only on the Spanish models.

Has anyone else rebuilt these aged calipers or know where to get the rebuild kit from?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.
Pete
