sj blowers are they supposed to be so bad

Post by kernow_joe » Fri Jul 21, 2017 10:22 am

so it rained a little this morning, one 'puddle' went over my roof I'm sure, and spent most of the drive pretty steamed up :S

My blowers seem to just about blow onto the bottom of the windscreen, air coming onto the side windows is non existant, makes travelling in the rain interesting.

Is this normal or are mine particularly bad?

My Jimny became terrible and then the head gasket went!

Am I right in thinking it might be the air box under the dash might be blocked, or the air vents on the bulkhead?

The heater might be clogged up with leaves and crap.

awesome cheers, thats another job to add to the list, they do seem to blow mud quite often.

I found one of the flexible pipes wasn't plugged in, that made them work a bit better!

mine was exactly same - managed to get some of the rubbish out poking around. Is there a neat way of getting inside the heater box to clear it properly??
