Grand Vitara gearbox with no gears

anybody had a problem with the transfer box going into neutral and loosing all gears. If I shift the transfer stick into low box and push forward past the normal position, then slowly pull back and across into 2 wheel drive, then i can get all 5 gears and drive normally. Until i lift off the throttle, when it seems to slip into neutral again. I cant seem to find anything like it it on any forums. hope one of you guys can help

I found the problem, pulled the gearbox and removed transfer box. found the selector fork worn away. now I need to find a new one.
