Grand Vitara not firing

Hi guys. I'm new to Grand Vitaras and have an issue with mine.
The car wouldn't start the other day before going to work. When I got home I ran the obd diagnostic tool and got a P0340 code. Just replaced the camshaft position sensor and checked the wiring but still won't start. It sounds like it's trying to turn over on the key but not firing.
It's a 2008 Grand Vitara 1.9ddis. I've done a service (with the exception of the glow plugs), replaced the clutch, thrust bearing and starter motor in the last couple of months.
Could this be a problem with the old glow plugs?
