After a shoulder injury stopped me building 1:1s I got into building RC cars to keep me busy. I made this ages ago but decided to dig it out and do some of the finishing touches. Its only 2wd but its only to rag around indoors. Still got a few bits to do like snorkle, number plates ect. One to add to my collection

wow, I love the RC suzuki what original rc did you put the body on? Ive always fancied putting one of those model bodies on to an rc frame but there never seems to be small enough rc models,

I've got a while to recover from an injury so I might have to start digging my rc kits out again,

Hi Tramp hope your well on the way to repair,.

This little SJ is on a Kyosho Mini-Z 'overland version' But i drastically had to shorten the chassis to match the wheelbase. I dont think I could have squeezed any more out of it . Most of the original plastic chassis is half as thick as it used to be and the shocks still rub slightly but I was determined to do it

One of my next builds was going to be one of these which is based on a Losi Mini Rock Crawler but the bodys are just about impossible to find  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkmQrPUNci0 it would be perfect next to the anus based on the Losi I built for my son

those sj's on you tube are awsome, I was considering buying a clodbuster, because Ive wanted one for so long, but maybe I aught to make an SJ instead, its a shame the body is polycorbonate, I'd worry about rolling It after I had done the work to amke it look right,

I usually end up bashing and spoiling the rc's I have, here is the rough and tough 4x6 midnight pumpkin I made

but something sj based would be much better,

The Losi MRC are great little kits with a few mods, I am keeping an eye out but the last one I only paid £80 second hand for so it would cover for the body.

Lexan bodys are tough and can be made to look pretty good. I paint mine on the outside so they scratch up.

This is one of my favorites at the mo.
