Well time has come for me to trade in my Jimny,
and im getting a Grand Vitara TD.
I be sorry to let the Jimny go,
but i need a bigger suzuki for the usual day to day stuff.
I will never sell the SJ410.
So im raising a few glasses of drink to the Jimny

and on a personal note, I always found jimnys small inside, and our lasses grand vitara is fantastic (even though its the 2lite petrol!)

Yep, your right Luke, its abit small inside the Jimny, i must be putting on weight,(the middle age spread)
The Grand Vitara im getting is a 5 door estate.
So there is plenty of room.
Nothing worse was when i have to pick up family/friends from the airport and i have to squeeze them and there luggage into the Jimny, all i get is "cant you get a bigger motor".

yeah our lassess is the lwb 5door, they did have a swb but if your having a large car you might as well have the extra space!
our lasses is in the background of this picture, sorry its not very good but i don't have any other pictures of her cars, I only seem to photograph mine!
to be honest for her it was a choice between the grand vitara and a freelander so i gave a push in the right direction and we couldn't have been happier its been really reliable and a great family car, also inside the dash and seats are loads better than the mk1 freelander she was looking at, a real pleasure to drive, only down side being the high speed work on the motorway, It does it but the engine can sound 'busy' from 70 upwards (tested on a private road of course
) almost like it could do with an extra gear! but maybe we are just used to chugging around at low revs...

Got the G.V. yesterday, after a 400 mile round trip im still tired.
Glad you got your gal to get her G.V. and not the freelander, their crap.
Anyhow your SJ, Luke as i've said before, it looks fantastic, even with snow on it.
My G.V. is a 2002 , 5 door, 2.0 TD and in green just like my SJ
Knackered,so i better get some rest, tomorrow i have to get rid of the crappy stereo and put in my JVC and a few other things.
