Post by ROBBIE » Wed Aug 04, 2010 10:55 am

hi i pulled the dizzy out to put another 1 in and now it runs really bad :x i lined the rotor arm with no1 on the dizzy cap before i started and put the new 1 back in the same position. the timing mark is 180deg out and i cant remember how to get it back

If you undo the adjustment bolt on the dizzy you can twist it to fine tune the timing. I think it needs to be firing 8 degrees before TDC on normal tick over. It cant be to far out or it would'nt start at all.

If you need any more info on setting up the timing try this site http://kick-fix.com/IGN_timing/8v-procedure.html its for vitaras but its basicly the same prcedure.
