Annoyed...
First it was the clutch on the 106... friction plate has run out of friction...
Now it's the Samurai's clutch!!!
Well, I think it's just the thrust bearing!
The clutch was making a bit of a whirry grindy noise when depressed... I guessed this was mud in the thrust bearing...
All of a sudden, instead of making a grindy noise, it started making a high pitched screaming...
now the clutch pedal only has an effect on the clutch when it gets past halfway down...
Even at full depression, the clutch is still gripping.... not as much as with no clutch, but there's definitely grip there, and a lot of it.
This leads me to assume that the friction plate is OK, but the bearing or maybe the cable is screwed...
Any thoughts or ideas?
As long as it's the bearing I don't really mind, it's like a 30 minute job anyway
