My nice new winch bumper :D

Well,
I've finally got me a bumper! It's a winch bumper, and here it is!
Got it delivered yesterday, so I was like, RIGHT let's put it on!
First off had to get the old bullbar mounts off, which was a complete mission!
I ended up undoing them a bit, then getting bored and getting the bolt croppers out
4x Snip and it's off!
Next comes the reinforcing brackets that go around the end of the chassis legs... They went on pretty easy with a bit of hammer!
After this, it's time of offer up the bumper... the bumper has forked legs that slot inside the chassis rails and go around the front bit of chassis tube, and then go further back into the rails. Again with a bit of fiddling they went in nicely
Then it was a case of drill the bolt holes out in the chassis ends, bolt it all up... big 12mm bolts going through the chassis, the bracket and the bumper "legs"
...and then U bolts that hold the winch tray onto the centre parts of the front chassis tube! So that's 6 points of contact... at least!
I've gotta say, it's made the front of the truck extremely rigid!!!
Brakes work a lot better as well with the extra weight!!!
I think you would actually have to rip the whole front of the car off before the bumper came out!!!
It seems like it's gonna be a lot stronger than bumpers that attach only onto the chassis ends!!!!
