Time to own up

I binned it.
I was driving home from a friend's house on Saturday evening, went 'round a right-left s-bend, and clipped the inside curb on the left.
My truck came a long way over on two wheels, but luckily I instinctively spun the wheel to the right as fast as possivbe and got back on four wheels, but before I could get my wits about me I crashed through a fence, narrowly missed the house and jerked it left through the fence again.
I've never really known what fear was before. And after I'd stopped shaking and surveyed the damage I couldn't believe my eyes. The fence was in smitherenes, I'd managed to haul a concrete foundation for a fence post out of the ground, snap three 3 and 1/2 inch posts as well, and dug a foot deep rut in the flower bed.
Man did I get lucky. The bullbar took a serious pounding, and is very badly twised and bent. The grills across the headlights were pressed against by the bullbar and so the front of the grill and wings is dented, but other than that it's just scratches and a broken wing indicator cover.
If I hadn't had the bullbar I think I'd have lost the radiator or worse totalled the car completely. I'm also glad it didn't roll or hit the house.
Now I've just got to replace the fence.
