My samurais handbrake is non exhistant, i put in shoes and cables from a used car. But ill buy new ones the next time, any recomendations for some new rear shoes.
Is it possible to handbrake turn the samurai or will that mean a 100% chance of tipping over, thats not really what i want it for, it would just be handy for parking on hills (for flat battery starts).

I would definitely not handbrake turn it... unless you specifically are after a sideways view of the world!!!

The handbrakes usually aren't good enough to do handbrake turns anyway... mine was once. When I'd just put new shoes in...

The ability to handbrake turn lasted about 2-3 hours

it did slip from 4wd to 2wd once and drifted round, scared the sh*t out of me.
I thought the samurai roll over thing was just a conspiracy all false allegations against suzuki by the consumers union.
the handbrake turns, they can be addictive, i used a 205 (for feeding cattle and going across the farm) before the anus, for a 2wd car its very good off road, but not in the winter when the suzuki was needed.
The 205 did a lot of handbrake turns though.

I've done a dougnut once on gravel. ONCE. Never again. I also ran over a fence once, but that's another story.

i did dongnuts frequently on the gravel yard with the old engine in the anus, there as a feeling i could do with a bit more power but it did them ok and it wasnt too scary.
I tried it in the vitara and all it did was leaned over and understeered, that was scary.

You can, just make sure its a nice smooth flat field, one hole and it could all end in I've had my sj sideways quite a few times around my mates fields, donuts n all

I have a mate who used to always drift his around roundabouts, well until he got caught by a copper doing it

Driftings fun, unless you abit further than intended.
A hidden hole has once put me on my side, but thats different to the consumers union trying to do sharp turns at speed.


Back on subject again, have you adjusted the "auto-adjusting" cog thing?
