Reversing wheels on a sammy

Post by Christoff » Tue May 24, 2011 10:42 am

Iv been told i can turn the wheels round to give a wider stance and cooler looking deep dish wheel on my sammy. When i tried it the rears wouldnt turn and i think i had a clearance problam on the fronts too. Does this only work with certain models?

It can only work with certain sj wheels. I still wouldn't bother doing it with those though as they aren't really designed to be run the wrong way around

Fair enough just a thought. I'l just get spacers then eh.

Looks cool the opposite way round though.

I've found that properly off set wheels are better that spacers.

The only downside to large offsets on your rims is more forces on your wheel bearings causing them to fail quicker than normal.

But we don't worry about that do we :brows:

We don't worry about stuff that's easy to fix... unless you break it every week ;)
