Due to wanting to tidy up the SJ a bit, iv'e decided to get the P38 out and do a poor mans paint job.
The SJ is on its orriginal yellow paint at the moment and was going to keep with the yellow theme......To many black ones, please don't take offence if yours is black. Anyway!! Someone at work suggested a colour scheme today that i liked the sound of so colour change it is.

My question is. How many ltrs of paint do you reckon i'll need to paint the SJ??

Are you spraying it? or brushing it?


Better to have to much than too little for the odd touch up.

Only hand painting. Foam roller and brush.

mine took about 4.5L so i would try to get 5

Excellent. Ok the hunt is on for 5 ltrs of ********** **** lol.

I think i used about 3L of primer and 4L of top coat on mine.

i hope to be doing the same thing soon, i found this tractor paint with a fairly good selection.

I'm actually doing mine with paint that they use for plant machines. So pretty much the same stuff.
