Shoe Adjuster Spring

hi can anyone help, i've got a santana sj410q f reg, the shoe adjuster clip on the rear pasenger side brake shoes has snapped and ive tried everywhere to try and find a replacement for it but i cant, has anyone had the same problem or know where i can purchase one from.

hi debbie :welcome: i had the same problem with mine and couldnt get them anywhere so i adjust mine when they need doing by hand, not much help sorry
you could look on ebay or try some1 like http://www.rhinorays.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but they might say youll have to buy the whole drum and back plate

hi debbie
if you post a pick of the spring(against a ruler for size) i now know a guy who may be able to help as he can make certain springs....worth a try if anything....if he can he would require the said spring to copy it.

i had a drum spring snap a while back and i got my brother in-law that's a mechanic to bring home lots if different one for a best fit as i couldn't get a new one....one out of about 15 springs just fit.

Ahhh those things are a pain....
That's the adjuster itself and not the spring...

Last time I needed one I had to order it from suzuki and it took 2 weeks to arrive.

It's a bit old and manky but if you can't get one from your local Suzuki dealer.. pm me

Had a look at diagrams available and they show the spring is not listed on it's own, only part of the self adjuster :thumbdown:
