wireing looms

as some/ most of you lot know that im putting a 8v vit engine in my sj ,

the new sj i got as it has the 8v engine in it work etc with the sj converted loom , and i just wondered are the 1992 sammy looms the same as a 1986 sj413 ? , so could i chop out the section i need then soilder it all together to the 1986 sj413 loom ?

What year is the sj that the 1.6 8V is going into, there should not really be any need to cut up the wiring loom to fit the 1.6

Is your sj a jap or Spanish one?

the 8v loom is in a 1992 sammy ,and its going into my 1986 sj413 ,

but some of the 1986 loom has been cut up for the old diesel vento lump :lol:

spanish should be almost the same except for the alternator wiring I think :er:

im pretty sure its a jap ones but anyone correct me if im wrong how can you tell the difference again i for got :roll: :lol:
