Hiya, Newbie here.
I'm trying to replace the bumper cover on my girlfriend's '94 JLX. I think I need to remove the grill to get the bumper cover off ( ?). 'Cos I can't seem to get the grille/headlamp surround off. I've pulled it off the clips above and below the lamps, removed the screw in the middle but I can't release the ends. Advice elsewhere says remove two screws in the wheel arch but having drilled one out (head knackered) I still can't get it off.
Anyone got any advice?
Can't wait for the snow....

I guess I was asking the wrong question. You probably knew that the steel structural bumper is only held on with 4 bolts accessed from the wheel arches, release them and the whole bumper and plastic cover slides forward and can be removed. Very simple to then remove the 16 or so bolts holding plastic to steel bumper, well easy except that every one of the bu**ers but two sheared off even after applying Plus Gas and when that didn't work heat from a butane blow torch. Plus Gas burns quite well BTW.
Once the bumper assembly is off it is easy to get to the two screws, one either side that fix the extreme ends of the rad/headlight grille, although as predicted by someone somewhere one of the plastic clips over a headlight snapped.
Anyway job is now done, new bumper and two new wheel arch extensions and very pleased with myself am I.
