reverse light switch
on the switch there is two colours red and yellow
but what colour is the earth etc
i think Darrel had a diagram the other day but cant seem to find it

Lol should it have an earth?!?! Generally speaking a switch has a live and a switched leg which should go to your reversing light which should have an earth on the fitting! If you have a test meter you should easily be able to find the live with the ignition on

Tom mate, I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter.
A switch is usually just a switch... unless it's got a diode built in, which I doubt, it should work either way around mate.
Although to be fair my reverse light switch only has 1 wire lol

Its not necessarily that the switch is under load, its just that it will probably take the same load whichever way around..
