I HAVE AN MOT!!!!!!!!!

Post by timpaton » Mon Jan 23, 2012 9:53 pm

Thanks Chaps for all your help!!

"SUZI" has now had the following work carried out since i dragged her from a barn in October, and i am pleased to announce has, as of this afternoon A NEW MOT !!!!!!! -

To get to this point i have changed the following-

1 engine, 1 transfer box, replacing all the bulbs, installing led day running lights, new mini indicators, 4 new wheels, 2 new tyres, a rebuilt carb, lots of paint, a straightened bull bar, 3 new solid brake lines, refitted aerial, new wing mirror, replacement seat belt clip, un seized door locks, adjusted height of clutch pedal, rebuilt alternator

Thanks for all the advise, now all i need to do is change the clutch and whiney gearbox, and get some checker plate on a few small holes

Yippie!!!

Tim

This is were it starts to cost you loads! Ha ha. With an MOT you want to drive it more and add more to it. But it's fun and cheaper that a divorce ha ha. Enjoy it mate

Cheaper than a marriage too! Or dating a girl in the first place.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Whiney gearbox and clutch now changed, for er another whiney gearbox?

Its not as bad as the first box, it does not have that I'm about to explode noise, but lord is it whiney, like a straight cut gear job.

Are they all like this? mine is a soft top, but i would not think i should be hearing this much noise?

Ideas?
