Removed the front wings

The front end of my samurai has become very shabby recently, the bumper fell off, the wings were very rusty and the bonnet its not too bad just very dented, and the radiator is out of a nissan micra and something more permanent needs to be done for it. So i removed the front wings:

the clearance for the radiator and electric fan isn't too good with the thick fan pulley in the way:

But where do most of you suzuki owners get replacement panels from, is there pattern parts available?

i had a price for 2 new wings from a company abroad, they came back with a price of 500 odd dollars, which is stupid, they are on ebay for £150 odd each side i think which again i think is stupid, so im repairing mine. lol

mine are beyond repair, the rust has ate them apart completely, some ebay breakers are looking £40 per wing which is decent but they won't post to northern ireland.

SUPERB, thats a great job, thanks. What did you type in to get that? I had done both SJ and Samurai Wing but would only get the expensive new ones.
Thanks

Glad I could be of help. :doublethumbs:
I am a patient Ebayer,I search suzuki sj every day. Once you have read the listings the first time you just need to put in newly listed and there's never more than a couple of pages per day to read.
Good luck with the bidding

I applied the same theory when looking for plastic replacements for the arch spats.

a good tip
at the moment all i have is ebay email alerts for suzuki samurai breaking and suzuki sj breaking, but have you just searched for suzuki SJ? The alerts are good but a lot of the time its old stuff getting relished, i have had an alert for a 406 sat nav screen for the past 2 years and its usually the same thing getting put on again.

I just search suzuki sj and suzuki samurai...
There's also a member of this forum who breaks sj's... Mike harris I think his name is.. (Hope he doesn't mind me dropping his name to you) Have a word with him, maybe he'll post to you if and when he gets one.

As for the sat nav screen.. I don't think you will get just a replacement screen.. Might have to buy the complete unit, there are a couple on there now.Type in peugeot 406 sat nav screen or peugeot 406 multi function display screen.(Don't know if this sort of thing is what you're looking for?Cheapest one on there was about £28ish)

Don't worry about the 406 screen i just used it as an example, i have had the reminder on them for a good while, the ones on ebay at the moment are just the ordinary dot matrix screens, the sat nav one actually is still a dot matrix just with a much higher resolution and IR receiver instead of buttons. They rarely come up and sometimes can be already faulty.

Thanks for the mike harris name ill take a look and try and send him a PM
