I'm going to be replacing my Bronco Grizzly Claw's soon, 2 of the 4 have slow punchers (but fast enough to be a problem). I'm not looking for something as aggressive this time, but it still needs to be good in the mud.

I've narrowed it down to 3 options and now I need some opinions of the tyres so I can pick 1.

I was originally going to get some Maxxis Buckshot Mudders.



But these seem to have gotten more expensive recently and are now more that what I want to spend.

My other 2 options are:

Maxxis Bighorn



And Cooper Discoverer STT



There is less than the cost of a pint between a set of these 2, but it's an extra £90ish for the Buckshot Mudders. Are they worth it, or should I go for 1 of the others. Anyone now what any of these are like in the mud.

I think out of those two choices I would go for the Maxxis Bighorns...
The more sideways tread the better

Personally though I wouldn't get either of those though...

Have you considered Kumho KL71s?

They are still great in the mud, but have a much smoother tread pattern than the Grizzlies and are really great on the road!



or Insa Turbo Saharas?

They are a bit better in the mud than the KL-71s, and only a tiny bit louder on the road.



I do a lot of road miles in my zook (when its on the road ), and a lot of mudding as well, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend KL71s or Saharas to anyone

I don't fancy the Saharas, as far as I'm aware they're remoulds and I'm trying to avoid them. Are the KL71's remoulds or new tyres?

Can't find the KL71's in the size I want. I'm after 31x10.5x15, nearest I can find the KL71's is 30x9.5x15 a bit too narrow for me. 10.5 is just about good enough for beach driving.

Just found them In the size I want, and much cheaper than the other options. Might be the way to go.

I love my insa's on and off road.

Also they seen to be pretty cheap

Loved my saharas bit too grippy tho my poor 1l seemed to struggle to turn the wheels lool fully recommend them for a bigger engine or bfg's are blinding

RE Tyre Life

I bought a set of 4 Sahara Tyres off some bloke on ebay for £90
They here already half worn, and lasted me 2 years. They would have lasted longer but I always end up doing silly things like burnouts and drifiting

If you had a new set I reckon they would last 5 years+ (with some semi-careful driving)

Ive got to vouch for the saharas. Had them on my last 3 vehicles and loved them
