Breathers

Post by ianedwards » Wed May 09, 2012 9:30 am

hi

just wondering if any one knows how much room there is between the transferbox breather and the bottom of the body,

is there enough room to get a bit of pipe and 90 bend for a breather.

ive sorted all the rest its the last one ive got to do, but without the body on im not sure how much room ive got to play with.

Any advice would be great.

Ian

Yeah, you need the 90 degree adaptor or it won't fit, I used a 3/4 bsp fitting (i think) with a small section of pipe to jubilee the breather bagging too

ive used quite short metal 6mm ones on the others with hose pipe size clear rubber tube, (not sure what diameter), works very well and looks good, i shall do that same with the transfer box. originally i was only going to do the axles but, might as well do it properly.

cheers
