rear wheel cylinders

just stripped my rear axle on dijon and the lovely brand new shoes are ruined by a leaky oil seals., the drums are fudged.
but ive got two different sized cylinders, one longer one and one shorter.
i had an issue before geting cylinders for my pick up as they are the slightly longer ones.
which one is correct for a F plate jap sammy?
im guessing the longer one and the shorter ones are for spanish ones??
please help!!!!!
