well i blown my old 410 so i thought i would buy a sammy so thats
what i did only this sammy looked alright untill me and scottie got garry the grinder on it and there where more holes in it than a sieve so i cut the old sills out and replaced them with a bit of 80x80box section. cut the hole back plate out and replaced that. a lot more holes i had to plate
back wheel arches where shoot so done a vitual lift with them then it was paint so matt black it was thats as far as i got so far now its just the lift which is going to be spoa with add a leaf basicaly what was on my old zuk

Excellent colour choice there :shock: that looks splendidly evil :twisted:

Good job you didn’t have to pay someone else to do the welding for you... that would have cost you an arm, leg, kidney and cornea!

I look forward to seeing it in the flesh (mild steel).

What is the fate of the 410?

That is a very cool looking SJ.

You have about the same amount oof rust as mine does, altho i can only just weld, and it is a very bad weld! nothing like learning on the job! :mrgreen:

nice bit of welding ;) i know just how bad the bodywork is to weld with! so i certainly dont envy how much work you've had to do to that!

but nice one! should last a fair bit longer now eh :mrgreen:

been busy on the zuk for a few weekends now and its nearly ready for the mot :shock: didn't think that would happen yet lol.i have done the spoa,add a leaf,redone all the brake lines and added a bias vavle for the rear disc's.all the fuel line and tank,front lights mk2 golf,wheel spacers,done the hand brake as i have the 410 t-box rocklobster so made a bracket up for that and all thats left now is the bambar rear lights which i'am going to make a rear bumper with lr lights like the front and the arche extensions which will be rubber,number plate,hi steer,exhaust then it's mot time yippee :mrgreen: hope to have it on the road in 2 weeks then i can do the rest of it in my own time like roll bar new soft top

Its got black doors again! looks a lot better! sorry i didn't text you those valve clearences dude I got to matty's and had ran out of bl**dy credit and there was no-one else there to nick a phone off! those landy lights look pretty good, fair play!

no worries mate had plenty of other things to keep me going bloody silly women in the car shop ordered me the wrong rocker gasket :evil: so have to do that another time so i will set the tappets then
yeah the landy lights took me ages as i only had a 40mm hole saw and needed a 42mm so had to file the hole to fit them :evil: lol
