As title really, I'm taking my seats out to give the car a real deep clean and to shampoo the seats and wondered if I could stick the carpet in the wash? Lol, bit random I know!

Do it at the laundromat then if it all goes wrong you can run off :D

On a serious note I don't see why not, if done at 30/40 degrees C it should be fine. I would think it's too big for a normal washing machine though.
Me , I'd get a bucket of soapy water and a brush, then hose it down.
How are you going to dry it, the sun never comes out round here any more

Lol, good point I thought with it being quite thin I might be able to fit it in but I'd have to see once iv got it removed. Iv got my back seats in the living room at the mo which iv just cleaned and got the heating on.....lol

Might stick to the good old fashioned way, I'm getting lazy!

Gentle pressure washing might be better, you might get the carpet cracking/folding in a washing machine

Yeh, not going to be the easiest thing to iron :)
Il just wait for a sunny day and stick to the bucket and a hose.

Seats are looking better, but still got a few stains! Don't know what's on them but it's not pleasant!
