SU hiff 44 intake manifold

Post by Jordi » Tue Nov 06, 2012 7:25 pm

Possibly being stupid here. But i just had a look the the su carb posts and failed to find what i was looking for.

What intake manifold is best? All i want is a 50mm pipe sticking out of the side of it so i can put flexi pipe on and make a snorkel.

Are there any aftermarket kits of does someone have a nice snazzy "heres one i made earlier foto"

Thanks
Jordi

How much are those airbox hose to carb adapter thingies? Mines a bit....bodged. I needed to get air above the piston for the carb to work but at the time I didn't know that went to the inlet side rather than to atmosphere, so I just drilled a hole in mine like a retard.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Thats the one. First piccy. Unless the whole manifold is cheap enough.

Has rockwatt got a website? Or do can we still just pm him on here?

Cheers
