Full Float Axle

After having to change both my rear wheel bearings again last month, i'm seriously thinking about getting a full floating axle conversion.
Is it just a matter of getting the half shafts and a adapter plate made and then building the axle myself, or is there a bit more to it than that?
Is there anywhere in the UK that makes the kits? I read RSmanufacturing do a kit but couldn't see anything on there website about it.
Also does the kit make the axle much wider than standard?

however I'm not sure if he does them for 413 axles.
Talk to rockwatt, he has the gear to make custom half shafts now so could knock up a kit for a 413 axle. Then because the axle will end up wider get a samurai axle for the front so the width matches
that's why I was thinking about selling mine because I don't really want the rear axle wider than the front so was going to get a 413 axle converted to full float so that it matches the width of the front samurai axle.

Yeah that sounds like the best idea, i would prefer to keep both the axles the same lengh if possible. Might email RS to see how much wider the kit actually makes them.

The full float is 3" wider in total than the stock front so there's not actually much in it.
