suzuki lowering shocker

Post by andyrew » Tue Nov 13, 2012 7:31 pm

well , maybe this is a firston here... ive lowered my sj back down. she had 30 9.5 15 on and add a leafs that id put on temporarely to go play in the mud after i had ripped my fuel tank guard off and bent my number plate  so aprrox 4 inches higher than norm.

i had it lifted still but on 195s for a while as the fuel economy is vastly improved from average 21mpg to about 29/30 now.

but as youd imagen it looked pony lift with small wheels and as i had a set of bogo height brand new springs next to my bed (as you do) the samis now back down to stock with a bit of dish and some 205 70 15 hankooks, they are a bit small tho. 215 75 15 would be better.

so no loger does my other half have to point her toes at the pavement and slide out of the anus

the ride is sooooooooo much better, shes my daily so needs must. ive broken my seat! with the hard springs so thats next on the list.

next up power steering and maybe and mini lpg conversion

should make for a very usable / comfy daily.

thanks, the wheels are just in primer for now, they had rusted out chrome on them before. so i had them shot blasted.

i think they where a jimny option? 15x7 jj rims with 205 70 15. they will be going black ( poundland gloss!) with the fake bolt replaced with stainless socket cap bolts

well it seems the 205 70 15 are just a wee bit too small for my liking, from some angles in looks cool.
but sideways on they kinda look like trolley wheels

so im now on the hunt for 215 15s just to fill the arches a bit more.

id forgoten how twitchy the lil sami is on wet mini roundabouts :hahaha:
