Is it a modified manifold to bolt an Su straight onto or does it have the 90* elbow adaptor?

You got a pic of exactly what you've bought?

As it has an adaptor I don't see why you can't use your manifold. Saves you some work.
You just need to fit as it is on the manifold now.

To use your existing manifold you will need to cut or file some material to open up the 2 holes to make one oblong hole.

As said. Your manifold will have two holes. Needs cutting out into one big whole.

No reason why you cant use your manifold. Or swap the whole lot. Time wise and cost i'd say 6 and 3 2s.

A gasket for the SU might take some hunting for whereas you can probably just walk into the nearest good motorfactorand get one for the manifold. Gunna need coolant if u remove manifold though so like said its 6 of 1 half a dozen of other.

Gaskets are dead easy to get for both ebay or motor factors. I usually just buy a sheet and cut my own.
