Hey guys.

Last week i had a shocker with the suzuki doing abit of wheel spin in the wet and charging into the water during the floods. Then everything went wrong it started to stutter and cut out when you put your foot over half way!!

So today during the rain i put the marquee up and started to figure out what was wrong with it. But not without the help of SCOTTIE !!

basically what i have done today is taken the Sh** snorkel on that had no filter and have replaced it with the standard one again. I also have started to sand down parts of the engine as I'm going to spray pain them.
Getting my dad to weld up the holes were the snorkel used to go. After this i need to replace the bit on the side of the engine that goes into the exhaust. Then going to have to get a new hood and at the same time as that give it a good wash. I need some new seats and abit more :weld: in side the car then new stearing wheel.

not a massive project but after not giving my suzuki the Love it needs acording to scottie its time i should have some as the last owner also didnt give it any. pics to come once my Sh*tberry works agian ha.

:good: on getting it out of the field. I'm sure with a bit of patience you can get it sorted, normally the fusible links don't go so I would give all the existing wiring a good check over to make sure there's no short circuit  good to see a filter back on there as well :doublethumbs:

I actually really enjoy wiring, i find it quite therapeutic  it's the sort of thing you can just take it slowly with, it's quiet, clean and you don't get covered in sparks.

Yer ha i bought some wireing thing with two screws in instead of the old block things the only reason why it went was dad and i just bodged it and hoped the wire the one side when it was suposed to have a big plastic link bit. and then i think it just shorted because of that i hope ha
