Some how fluked permission to drive on some private heath/scrub land at the very top of Cheddar Gorge whilst visiting the Missus Cousin this weekend. Couldn't push it all the way to the top as it was getting too rocky to risk hanging an axle with my nearest reliable recovery being Scottie an hour's drive away.
Only a few pics as I was too busy trying not to sink most of the time and the sun was too low and it was very hazey for a decent shot of the scenery but you could see for miles. Will have to visit again next time in better conditions.
This is as high as I dared get up the ridge at the top. Behind the truck on a clear day you would easily see across the Severn estuary to South Wales.
Was great fun although could have easily got bogged down in the fields on the way up there!

Re: Cheddar Gorge
Nice little solo mission. I find there always the best. You get to take your time and mess about more. Looks sweet man.
