Brake bias valve

Post by Jordi » Mon Feb 04, 2013 10:57 pm

Just wondering if anyone has or has not fitted one when using SJ calipers and discs on the rear.

Gathered 99% of the stuff to do the conversion. Just need to clarify this issue for the MOT man.

Cheers

My 413 has this thing on it, i think is some sort of proportioning valve. Does the Samurai not have any thing like that on it?

I bought and will be installing a manual adjustable valve as i have been in a suzuki that has a rear disc conversion, and even with the proper bias valve fitted, I still didnt like the fact that the rear had a tendency to lock up before the fronts, plus with the adjustable valve if i am carrying a load, i can feed more power to the rears, and if i am towing i can adjust the brakes accordingly, not that expensive for an item and will give would perfect control
