1600 8v spark plug gap

Just about to do my plugs, whats the best gap to set. Dose this really make a diffrance

The electrode cap is 0.7 to 0.8mm.
i check mine every now and then but normaly i just bin them a put new plugs in for the price of them!

I'm putting new plugs in was just wundring if I need to set gap before I put them in

nope you shouldnt never really need to , just put them in and nip them up not to tight though if you have a torque wrench torque them to 25-30nm but its not the end of the world if you havent got one

Ok that's Wat iv done with all other cars was just wundrin if it matters. But now that's bein cleared up thanks again guys
