Front axle '92 Sammy LWB

Just had my pride and joy rammed by a renegade Fiat! The front axle was pushed back, damaging the hub mount and the spring has folded - the steering arm may also be bent. It would seem I need another front axle and spring, plus a sump as the axle punctured it on moving back!
Main question, is the front axle the same as Japanese built Sammys? I know the disc and caliper are different - can I mount them on a Japanese axle? I've just fitted new discs and rebuilt the calipers (Biggred supply all the seals for £26!). Apart from that the chassis, mounts and outriggers all seem OK so it just needs a little bit of heavy hammer work in the drivers side footwell. Should have seen the Fiat!

Thanks very much for the responses, I have managed to trace the bits I need locally and so should be able to get her back on the road within a week, hopefully that will be the last time she is written off!
