Hi guys.
Posted this in the Newbie section -
Hi guys.
I had a 1992 Vitara JLX delivered to my house Friday.... The story is it was on Ebay being sold by a rep company (non payment of car tax..). I wone it for 265... No paper work, no keys so no idea!!!!

It is very clean, boot floor is solid as is everywhere to be honest, usual marks etc but all round its in good usable condition.
I have a guy coming out Tuesday to cut me a key!!! Will be interesting to see if its a runner!!!

Anyway just saying hi, wont go into what my plans are until i know if it is healthy

Its a 1.6 16v..... Roll on Tuesday!!!

Mike.

Hi again.
Well after being let down by the locksmith..... I found these guys on line http://www.keysinthepost.com/ , gave them a call and they told me to pull off the drivers door lock, locate the code and use their online form to order the key...

It took me no time at all and after a few days wait the key turned up.... Vitara started 1st turn of the key and so far all seems ok 8-)

So Locksmith wanted £70.... I paid them £7.99!!!!!

Thanks guys.
Next step is get all the paper work etc in order, Find out MOT status etc...
Then if all good get it on the road!!
No rush though, this took a LOT of persuading the Mrs as we have 2 other cars.... ;) So get it road legal then take my time 'improving' it ;)

As far as my research found anything pre 1997 did not have one, but right or wrong this one did not ;)
