how much work is involved in puttin this engine into my sammy(non injection)?
i have done the 1.6 8v non injection into my brothers the other week was straight forward
guessing its the same just need to sort out all the wiring...wer does it go?
my mate has told me to get rid of the injection?he does with all his banger racing cars he builds

When i fit mine i'm converting it to SU. Got the manifold done already, facet pump is sat on the dining room table.
Swap the 1.3 distributor onto it and wire up same as the old 1.3.
Makes life easier, keeps it simple.

will the su fit onto the spi manafold?
or port out the sammy manafold..i can use the vitara gasket to mark it and use dremil?

I say fit the SPI! It won't be that hard.

Isit just wire a live from ignition to ecu and earth it?

Spi better in winter for sure and better on fuel. Not so good underwater though
