I've just been looking through the sticky about these so know how they work etc, but wandering which models they came on, as I definetly don't have one atm, mine is a 1995 samurai sport originally

My 88' Samurai now has one too. It doesn't work though. I did get round to bolting the handbrake cable to the lever last tuesday though.

Thats interesting my 86 413 never had a tranny brake... as it worked on the calipers, but now i have changed it to 410 :D

Gave up on never good enough transfer brake and spent out on X- Brake what a difference. You wont pull away with that brake on! Gone through one set of pads in a year, including winch challenge every month, some in sill deep mud, replacement pads ordered online and arrived within thirtysix hours easier than trying to get Sammy parts at motor factors. Certainly a worthwhile mod!
